Annual General Meeting of Port of Saguenay

On May 3, 2018 in La Baie, the annual general meeting of the Saguenay Port Authority was held. During the meeting, Mr. Martial Bouchard, Chairman of the Board of Directors, and Mr. Carl Laberge, General Manager, reviewed the highlights of the year 2017:

• The development of the industrial-port zone (ZIP) by the formalization of its territorial limits;
• Consistent efforts to provide this zone with service infrastructures necessary for its development and the establishment of businesses;
• Conducting an underwater noise study for the marine terminal project on the north shore of the Saguenay;
• The progress of various ongoing industrial projects such as those of BlackRock Metals, Arianne Phosphate and LNG Quebec.

Therefore, all efforts will be maintained in 2018 by the Port of Saguenay team and its partners to continue the road leading to the realization of the projects started.
